Today, we went to Eri’s family, at Hiratsuka. Meteo was good, and we can see Mount Fuji

With 3776 meters height, Mount Fuji is the higher mountain in Japan, and one of the most important symbol. He looks like a perfetc cone.
Mount Fuji is a stratovolcano. The last eruption was in 1707, and he is still active.

Many artists were inspirated by the mountain, the most famous is Hokusai, with the Thirty-six views of Mount Fuji

Mount Fuji will be on UNESCO World heritage this year, in june.
