When you are waiting in Roissy-CDG airport, Terminal 1 is great, because you can see airplanes from arrivals level.
Terminal 1, nicknamed “Camembert”, is the oldest one in the airport. This year, it is 40 years old. Airport and T1 were inaugurated, on March 8, 1974. Only international flights, operated by non-french companies are on Terminal 1.
Because it’s a circle in the middle of the tarmac, there is many points of view on the airplanes from the arrivals level, on the top, accessible without boarding pass, and it’s possible to shoot and being surprised, like this Royal New Zealand Air Force Boeing 757 (the gray plane)
Only one problem in the place, the wall… And it’s forbidden to go behind it.
