This is the Tokyo government headquarter.
Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, Tôkyô-to Chōsha, abrégé Tochô, was designed by architect Kenzô Tange. Building starts in 1988 and ends in 1990. It is made with two 48 floor twin towers, and the height is 243,4 meters.
The observatory is on 45th floor, with an height of 202 meters. From here, we can see the city and Mount Fuji, if the weather is clear (not today…)
To go to the observatory, we are using a fast elevator. From 1st to 45th floor, it takes one minute.
And there, we can enjoy the panorama.
Once back down, we are in the building lobby.
Back in the street, we see from ground the Nishi Shinjuku buildings.
